A Lansford woman who was “foaming from the mouth” when encountered by Tamaqua police in August will now face charges in Schuylkill County court.
Ciarra Moran, 25, is charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct engaging in fighting and disorderly conduct hazardous/physical offenses for an Aug. 20 incident in the borough, which Magisterial District Justice Stephen Bayer held for court Dec. 14.
Moran did not attend. Court records show a request for a bench warrant.
Police responded to Sixth Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival, multiple people were arguing.
Moran didn’t obey commands to move and was seen jumping, screaming at someone and “foaming at the mouth,” police said. Police attempted to apprehend her, but she resisted, screaming and attempting to get up after being pulled to the ground by police, documents state.
Additional police were needed to get the situation under control.
