A truckload of clothing, toys and household goods, destined for families affected by Hurricane Katrina, made its way to South Carolina recently, thanks to the generosity of members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Albrightsville.

The items were delivered to Faithworks Ministries’ “Mission Relocate” program, which is aiding 10 families from the Gulf Coast region.

The families relocated to the Charleston area following the hurricane which devastated the coast last August.

The local collection was spearheaded by Ron and Liz Keppler of Lake Harmony, who were assisted by Charles Leinthall, Summit Hill, his grandson, John Leinthall; and Gene Peters of Albrightsville.
