Older adults in the Northern Lehigh community can still have their cookies and eat them, too.

Only this time around, they’ll get to enjoy them from the comfort of their very own vehicles.

Slatington Elementary School invites senior members of the Northern Lehigh community to its cheerful Senior Citizens Cookie Drive-Thru.

Pickup times are from 12:30-2 p.m. Dec. 14. The deadline to make reservations is Tuesday.

Seniors will be able to collect their holiday cookies prepared by students and families as they enjoy holiday music performed by the students.

In December 2019, the school held its 39th annual Senior Citizen Holiday Program and Holiday Dinner.

The district plans to bring back the in-person holiday program and meal next year.
