The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:
Carbon County
• Penn Forest Township, Hatchery Road pothole patching between Route 903 and Maury Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
• East Penn Township, Mahoning Mountain Road restrictions with flagging between Route 443 and Church Hill Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
• East Penn Township, Dinkey Road crack sealing between Ben Salem Road and Route 895, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
Lehigh County
• City of Allentown, Route 22 construction between I-78 and 15th Street, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.
• Whitehall Township, Route 22 milling and paving between 15th Street and Route 145/MacArthur Road, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.
• City of Allentown, I-78 inspection between Exit 57 (Lehigh Street) and Exit 60 (Route 309), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Monroe County
• Multiple townships, Interstate 80 East crack sealing between Exit 304 (Route 209 to Route 33) and Exit 310 (Route 611), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
• Hamilton Township, four-lane 209 restrictions between Lesh Road and Route 33, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Stroudsburg Township, Cherry Lane Road drainage between Route 191 and Hallet Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
• Hamilton Township, Route 33 South bridge repair between Route 209 and Bossardsville Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
• Hamilton Township, Route 209 North bridge repair between Bossardsville Road and Route 33, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
• Stroudsburg Township, I-80 West tree cutting/removal between Exit 304 (Route 209) and Exit 307 (Route 191), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
