The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Carbon County

Kidder Township: I-80 ramps at Exit 274 pothole patching and lane shift in both directions, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday; Route 534 brush cutting between Route 903 and River Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Penn Forest Township: Hatchery Road pothole patching between Route 903 and Maury Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

East Penn/Bowmanstown: Route 895 drainage between Dinkey Road and Morris Lane, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; Route 895 crack sealing between Route 248 and Schuylkill County line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lehigh County

Upper Macungie, South Whitehall Township, and City of Allentown: Route 22 construction between I-78 and 15th Street, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Whitehall Township: Route 22 milling and paving between 15th and Route 145/MacArthur Road, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

City of Allentown, Salisbury and Upper Saucon townships: I-78 construction between Exit 52 and Northampton County Line, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

Whitehall: Neffs Laurys Road drainage between Route 145 and Mountain Road, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Salisbury Township/Allentown: Route 145 crack sealing between Route 309 and Tilghman Street, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Upper Macungie Township: I-78 crack sealing between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 45, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Monroe County

Multiple townships: Four-Lane 209 milling between Route 33 and I-80, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

Stroudsburg Township: Cherry Lane Road drainage between Route 191 and Hallet Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Smithfield Township: Hollow Road pothole patching between River Road and Route 209, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

Multiple townships: I-80 East/West bridge repair between Exit 293 and Exit 299, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Tobyhanna Township: I-380 lane restriction between Exit 1 (I-80) and Wayne County line, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

No reported road work for Northampton or Schuylkill counties.
