Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

• Retirement resignation: Marian VanNorman, English Language Arts teacher, Northern Lehigh High School, effective Oct. 21, after six years of service.

• Resignations: Kristin Garrison, cafeteria/hall monitor, Peters Elementary, effective Sept. 26; Erika Katona, instructional paraprofessional, Northern Lehigh Middle School, effective Oct. 1; Holly Rainey, cafeteria/hall monitor, Peters Elementary, effective Oct. 4; Nicole Barthol, instructional paraprofessional, Slatington Elementary, Oct. 1; Jessica Eckroth, cook’s helper, Northern Lehigh Middle School; effective Sept. 28; Karie Miller Mallory, permanent district substitute, effective Sept. 30.

• Appointments: Kristin Garrison, cook’s helper, $13.50 an hour, 2021-22 school year, effective Sept. 27; Lisa Hunt, instructional paraprofessional, $15.45 per hour, effective Oct. 5; Holly Rainey, cook’s helper, $13.50 an hour, 2021-22 school year; Jessica Eckroth, cafeteria/hall monitor, Peters Elementary, $13.87 an hour, effective Oct. 4; Nicole Kaercher, instructional paraprofessional, $15.45 an hour, effective Nov. 1; Jennifer Figueroa, instructional paraprofessional (funded through ESSER), $15.45 an hour, effective Oct. 18; Erika Katona, substitute paraprofessional, 2021-22 school year.

• Districtwide permanent substitute teacher: Stephanie Gustafson, daily per diem rate of $150 with district health benefits according to the Affordable Care Act regulations, with co-payment amounts equivalent to that of district personnel.

• Co-curricular appointments: Matthew Davis, Academic Challenge Eight adviser, $501; Michele Brown, Slatington Elementary yearbook (shared stipend), $325; Jessica Jones, Slatington Elementary yearbook (shared stipend), $325.
