The Ministerium of Lehighton of Weissport and vicinity held its regular monthly meeting Tuesday morning in the Craftsmen's Club. The following ministers were present: P.R. Pontius, R. Mayer, J.C. Roth, L.S. Stahl, E.U. Erb, W.M. Wieand, W.W. Moyer, R.A. Beck, F.R. Cardwell and M.R. Meredith.The following officers were elected for 1933-34: president, Rev. P.R. Pontius, vice president, Rev. L.S. Stahl, secretary, Rev. Russell Mayer, and treasurer, Rev. J.C. Roth.Union Thanksgiving services will be held Wednesday evening in Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church. The sermon will be preached by the Rev. W.H. Berk. The Weissport service will be held in Ebenezer Evangelical Church with the Rev. Russell Mayer to give the sermon. The collection taken at these services will be given to the local Welfare Relief Committee to use as it sees fit.
