A 71-year-old Germansville man had $5,300 stolen from him in a theft by deception-credit/ATM card incident.

State police at the Bethlehem barracks said they were called to Reservoir Road in Heidelberg Township where they were told between 3:50 p.m. Aug. 23 and 8:21 p.m. Aug. 26 someone used the man’s personal information to gain access to his unemployment bank card account and transferred the $5,300 to three separate accounts.
