The Panther Valley Public Library in Lansford recently received a $500 donation from the Carbon County Bar Association. Standing in front of newly purchased shelving are from left, Pat Ladick, director of the library; Adam Weaver from the Carbon County Bar Association; and Dawn Neyer, secretary of the library board. Many improvements have been made to the library recently. In addition to the shelving, the library now has four additional computers for patrons to utilize, as well as a large screen TV to show movies to children and a large activity table donated by Barnes and Noble. The new equipment was made possible by ongoing fundraising, grants and donations.
