State police at Lehighton

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents:

• On June 2 at 8:16 a.m. a 48-year-old man from Palmerton arrived at the barracks with evidence of scattering rubbish. As a result Morgan Rehrig, 34, of Oley, Berks County, was cited for scattering rubbish in the area of Forest and Hemlock streets in Towamensing Township.

• On May 26 at 2:14 p.m. troopers responded to the area of 16 Cornell Ave., in Lower Towamensing Township, for a report of harassment. On scene a 31-year-old man from Palmerton related that he was delivering pizza and was approached by a man, identified as John Snyder, 64, of Palmerton, who began to yell towards him and started an argument. As a result Snyder was charged with harassment - threatening physical contact.

• Joseph Amoroso, 41, of Nazareth, and Taylor Amoroso, 42, of Kunkletown, were issued non-traffic citations for harassment by physical contact after police were summoned to Turkey Ridge Drive and Haney Road in Polk Township.

Police said the incident happened at 1:56 p.m. May 29 when they were called to assist EMS and determined a fight between both parties had taken place.
