Church picnic

St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold a church picnic on May 22 at Memorial Park. The day will begin with the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch.The church will provide the meats and beverages, as well as items for an ice cream sundae bar. Those planning to attend are asked to bring their favorite side dish, etc. to share with others. There will also be a cake walk and baked goods are needed. There will be games for the children.Any church member interested in attending should sign up at the church or call the church office at 570-325-4255 and leave a message or contact any church council member. There is a need for sign-ups, so that a count can be made for the meal.Gold ticketThe winners of the April Gold Tickets at L.B.
