Schuylkill County is gearing up for the May 19 primary elections.

The county Election Board on Wednesday appointed four resolution board members for election night.They are Edward Barket, Marybeth Dougherty, George Moyer and county administrator Mark Scarbinsky.All will get $100, except for Scarbinsky, who gets no compensation.The board also hired 13 rovers to make sure the voting machines and everything else is ready for election. They will be paid $10 an hour plus $0.575 per mile mileage reimbursement.The rovers will start with a target date of April 13, or before as needed.They are Mike Botto, Kathy Case, Carol Leashefski, Ron Coleman, Joe Matz, Carol Cooney-Syzdek, Jean Quirk, Tony Downey, Janet Terefencko, Bob Fallan, Daniel Wachter, Annmarie Groody and Susan Kester (pending).
