Samantha Postupack and Damian Munoz received special awards during the Tamaqua Area High School Spring Band Concert held May 1. The awards were presented by Tamaqua band director Mark Beltz. Postupack earned the Patrick Gilmore Award, presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated the greatest improvement in band. Munoz was presented the John Philip Sousa Band Award, given to an outstanding graduating senior member of the band.
