April 22, 1963 - Jim Thorpe scores three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a 4-3 comeback victory over Ringtown. After pushing a run across to narrow their defecit to one, the Olympians’ Ronnie Hydro delivers a two-run single to plate Jack Kmetz with the tying run and Dave Rimsky with the walkoff winner. The rally gives Johnny Hydro, who allows just three hits in seven innings, the mound victory. Thorpe’s pitcher also helps his own cause with a hit and a run scored.
