The red carpet will be rolled out Friday night at Tamaqua Area High School for the premiere of the 11th Annual THS Independent Film Festival.

A total of 13 films have been entered by students this year with three monetary prizes up for grabs. Student producers are Thad Zuber, April Brooks, Hoyt Gyuricsek, Alyssa Frye, Gabby Geronimo, Trinity Paul, Isaiah Rivera, Matt Smarr, Hannah Stott, Rachel Oberman, Sophia Gursky, Chandler Davis and Rebecca Ansbach.The evening is a black-tie affair and the public is welcome to attend. Anyone formally dressed will be granted free admission to the film festival.
