A Lehighton man admitted his part in burglaries at a Palmerton business and also a theft at a county ski resort recentlyin Carbon County court.

Garry Marshall Hoffner, 37, pleaded before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II to two counts each of criminal trespass and theft and one count of receiving stolen property.Hoffner admitted his part to break-ins at Shea's Hardware warehouse located at 321-323 rear Lehigh Ave. The break-ins occurred on Aug. 18 and 29, 2015. Generators and an air compressor were taken. One generator and the air compressor were sold at a pawnshop in Nazareth. The second generator was sold to a private buyer in Quakertown.He also admitted his part in removing two batteries from a water truck on the property of the Blue Mountain Ski Area in Lower Towamensing Township on Aug. 26, 2015. Charges were filed by state police at Lehighton.Nanovic deferred sentencing and ordered a presentence investigation report be prepared by the adult probation office.Anthony McGraw, 28, of Palmerton, who is a co-defendant in the cases, has a total of five criminal cases pending in the county court. He is scheduled for a pretrial conference on May 3.
