Four Carbon County attorneys have been given 1962 committee assignments in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, according to Barbara Lutz, executive secretary of the association.

They are: William H. Bayer, Lehighton, Service to the Public; George Kerestes, Lansford, Economics of Law Practice; George B. Richards, Lansford, Legal Biography and History; and George A. Shutack, Nesquehoning, Membership.

Lutz also announced attorney John Deutsch, Lehighton, is among 50 officers recently elected by various sections of the association. He will serve as vice chairman of the Criminal Law group.
