John Boyer, Chairman of the Schuylkill Economic Development Corporation board of directors, has unveiled the organization's new website.

"The new site has been built with the latest technology to enable commercial real estate agents and site selectors the ability to search land and building availability, demographic information and much more in their offices or on the go," he said.The new website features responsive design, which allows viewers to easily access the information they need from any device. Information regarding industrially zoned land and buildings, as well as other important data, is now readily available."In today's age of rapid information sharing and communication, having an up-to-date website is critical in promoting Schuylkill County to site selectors and industries across the country and overseas," SEDCO President Frank J. Zukas said."It's becoming much more common for site selectors to demand information in the field. Now they'll be able to access vital information from their phones and tablets. I think the end product is fantastic and thank the subcommittee of Matthew Baran, Brian Canfield and Mark Fanelli for their assistance in guiding its development," Vice President Brian Hansbury said.The website, www.sed-co.com, was financed in part by a PPL Blue Ribbon Grant.
