State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 5:55 a.m. on Feb. 9 along Church Road in Eldred Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Carmine G. Catalfamo, 26, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla southbound and lost control while negotiating a left-hand curve due to snow on the road. The vehicle went onto the berm and struck a utility pole.

Catalfamo was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.
