A Lansford man is charged with hiding merchandise in his shorts at the Mahoning Township Wal-Mart, then entering the restroom.

Christopher Miller has been charged with retail theft. Police said the charge is a misdemeanor becuase of a prior retail theft charge.Mahoning Township police said that on Sept. 2, loss prevention at Wal-Mart observed Miller hide the merchandise in his shorts and then enter the restroom.Police said the male later attempted to leave the store with the concealed merchandise.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 8 before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek.
