Local band Justus will be celebrating D-Day on June 6 by "storming" the Tamaqua Community Art Center with its own brand of music.

The group is composed of Buddy Musselman, lead guitar and vocals; Jack Kulp, vocalist and blues harp player; Doug Betz on bass guitar; guitarist Brian DeLay; and Billy Frey on drums.Group members pride themselves on interpreting music that is familiar but not often performed by other acts.They adapt the melodies to their own style, featuring prominent harmonies and blues harp (harmonica) leads. They take great pride in arranging music to ensure it doesn't sound exactly like the original.Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the music will start at 7 p.m. This is a BYOB event.Advance tickets are available at a discount and are available from any band member or at the art center, 125 Pine St. in Tamaqua.
