Carbon County court — ARD

Eight people were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program last week by Judge Steven R. Serfass. Seven were placed for a year on driving under the influence charges.

Placed were:

Jacob Thomas Errichetto, 26, Weatherly, was arrested on Aug. 2, 2020, by Weatherly police.

He was assessed $500 for the cost of the program and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Frisner Dominique, 51, of Miami, Florida, was arrested on Jan. 27, 2020, by state police at the Pocono barracks.

He was assessed $500 and his license was suspended for 30 days. His proceeding was done via Zoom from his home in Florida.

Ricken Junior Cespedes, 24, of Hazleton, was arrested on Jan. 30, 2020, by state police at Hazleton.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Ethan Silas Comer, 55, of Lehighton, was arrested on Nov. 5, 2019, by state police at Lehighton.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and his license was suspended for 30 days.

Christopher Thomas Kohaut, 22, of Danielsville, was arrested on Feb. 24, 2020, by state police at Lehighton.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Robert Charles Stewart,Malinda Marie Coombe, 33, of Palmerton, was arrested on March 5, 2020, by Lehighton police.

She was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and her license was suspended for 60 days.

DUI dropped

Keith H. Romano, 33, of Walnutport, was placed in the program for two years on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested on July 3, 2015, by state police at Lehighton. There were 23 continuances in the case.

In an agreement with the district attorney’s office, DUI charges were dismissed.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment and render 100 hours of community service.

Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000, follow any recommendation of their drug and alcohol evaluation and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program.
