Lehigh Township officer Craig Ball was promoted to sergeant and was recognized at the last supervisors meeting.

Police Chief John Henry said, “Ball successfully completed the promotional process which began in January. The process included a lot of studying, a written test and two interviews.”

Ball is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University and a graduate of the Allentown Police Academy.

He began his career with Lehigh Township on June 22, 2025, and for most of that time he has played a leadership role.

Ball is a field training officer and a firearms instructor. He is in charge of the property room and has assisted with and also been the lead on many criminal investigations.

Henry said Ball is a mentor to the younger officers who are just starting their careers and, most importantly, he has their respect.”

Ball was presented his badge by his wife, Megan and their children, Christian and Madelyn.
