A Ohio driver is facing a hit-and-run charge following an incident in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Emran R. Aliyev, 24, of Ridgeville, Ohio, was driving a 2009 Volvo 780 truck along Route 183 in Cressona borough at 7:33 a.m. on Jan. 26 when his vehicle struck a legally parked 2019 Ford F350 truck. A witness at the scene told Aliyev he had struck the parked vehicle, but he left the scene without providing information required.

Troopers said Aliyev was later located and charged with accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property.
