State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an armed robbery at a Monroe County business.

Troopers said at 10:02 p.m. on Jan. 23 they were dispatched to the Dollar General Store, located off Route 715, in Jackson Township.

Troopers said the investigation revealed that two suspects entered the store and confronted two victims pointing handguns at their heads and demanding money. The two victims retrieved about $750 in cash and put it in a backpack. The two suspected then fled the scene in an unknown direction with the backpack.

The two suspects were dressed in all black from head to toe and only their eyes were showing, troopers said. The two victims were not injured.
