Man sought for robbery, theft

State police at Frackville are looking for a man involved in a domestic incident that includes robbery, theft and harassment. He is also wanted by the state board of probation and parole.

On Sunday at 10:10 a.m. troopers responded to West Ogden Street in Girardville for a domestic disturbance/assault.

A 33-year-old woman reported her ex-boyfriend, identified as Michael Joyner, 31, had forced his way into her home through a locked rear door. Once inside he allegedly forcibly removed her cellphone from her hands, punched her upon the right side of her face, and fled the residence before police arrived. The woman refused medical treatment.

The state board of probation and parole has an active warrant for Joyner’s arrest. He is described as being 6-feet, 1-inch tall, 165 pounds with brown hair and eyes. A felony warrant has been secured for his arrest for the Girardville incident.
