Palmerton Borough Council once again has a full contingent following the council's regularly-scheduled meeting.

The board appointed Richard Nothstein to fill the unexpired term of Richard Hager, who resigned last month because of his relocation from the borough. Nothstein, who was appointed on a 4-2 vote, will be filling a 15-month term left by Hager's resignation once he is sworn into office by Palmerton Mayor Peter Delich.Also seeking the appointment was Philip Binder.
