Several people were injured Monday afternoon in a head-on crash in Mahoning Township. The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection in front of the Carbon Plaza Mall, involving a car and a sport utility vehicle. Three medic units were called to the scene. Mahoning Valley firefighters shut down the eastbound lanes of Route 443. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
