The Schuylkill County Salary Board on Wednesday named Janice Huth of Frackville first deputy clerk of courts.
Huth has served as interim deputy since First Deputy Paul Steffanic retired last month. She'll earn $34,435.In other personnel matters, the board transferred Paula Moucheron of Mahanoy City from interim administrative assistant in human resources to administrative assistant. She'll earn $34,269.The board also accepted the retirements of community health nurse 2 Donna DePauli of West Brunswick Township and administrative officer 2 Dorothy Ferris of Frackville from the Office of Senior Services.The board also hired Donna Bentz of Pottsville and Dorothy Manion of St. Clair as judicial attendants in court administration at $9.95 an hour each.It also hired five part-time nurses' aides at Rest Haven at $12.68 an hour each. They are Crystal Metz, of Port Carbon, Annabel Hall of Tamaqua, Cheyanne Kromes and Sheila Brandon of Pottsville, and Samantha Swenson of Ringtown.Seven part-time nurses' aide trainees were also hired at $8.33 an hour each: Rebecca Brown of Pine Grove; Sierra Miller, Kimmie Sheetz and Robin Larson, all of Schuylkill Haven; Rebecca O'Neal of New Ringgold; and Jillian Ostrousky and Adam Miller, both of Pottsville.In the coroner's office, Kathryn Schuck of Pottsville was hired as a per diem part-time clerk at $11.42 an hour and Diane Rhody of Pottsville was hired as a part-time clerk at $11.09 an hour.
