A beam connecting the two sides of the new Route 903 bridge is placed into position Thursday morning. The $28 million project is being completed by Allen A. Myers Construction and includes building a new 961-foot, four-span continuous steel plate girder bridge over the Lehigh River, Lehigh Canal, Reading Blue Mountain Northern Railroad and Norfolk Southern Railroad. High Steel Erectors, a subcontractor for Allen A. Myers, is erecting the beams.
