TREXLERTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A 19-year-old Pennsylvania man has waived his right to a hearing on charges stemming from a scary school bus prank involving a "Scream" mask and a fake knife.
Police in Upper Macungie Township say Jason Santo boarded the Parkland High School bus on March 22 wearing a black cloak and the mask. He waved the fake knife then ran away.The (Allentown) Morning Call (http://bit.ly/239PBkC ) reports Santo waived a preliminary hearing on charges of disorderly conduct and unauthorized entry of a school bus on Tuesday. His attorney didn't immediately return a call Wednesday.Police say someone followed the school bus intruder to Santo's home and alerted authorities. Police say Santo acknowledged pulling the prank, saying he is friends with a student on the bus and was trying to scare him.
