The ramp from the Mahoning Valley Toll Plaza to Route 209

northbound will be closed through the end of August. Construction crews will remove a section of the bridge abutment adjacentto the ramp. This requires the contractor to utilize heavy equipment to demolish the abutment and tri-axle dump trucks to haulthe material away using the ramp. To accommodate increased traffic volumes the weekend of the Pocono 400 Race, the contractorwill reopen the ramp to northbound Route 209 on Aug. 1 at 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. Aug. 2.
