Bowmanstown Borough Council, on a 5-0 vote with Councilwoman Barbara Eastland absent, took the following action on Tuesday:

• Agreed to spend about $2,500 to remove about 18 drums from the borough garage that have various types of liquids in them.

• Agreed to remove one of the phone lines at the sewer plant that wasn’t in operation for several years, and purchase a wireless contract so that the plant operator can have access to the plant via phone.

• Agreed to purchase another desktop computer at a cost somewhere between $1,500 to $1,800 for the sewer plant.
