A Palmerton Senior High School student recently tested positive for COVID-19, school officials said Thursday.
According to Superintendent Dr. Jodi Frankelli, the student had been quarantining since Oct. 22 because of an immediate family member’s positive COVID-19 test.
“With this case and any that arise in the future, the administrative team and I will continue to rely on the guidance and advice of the Department of Health,” Frankelli said. “We will assist our public health officials with any and all efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.”
Palmerton has had multiple individuals test positive since Sept. 21 including two junior high school students, two other high school students, an S.S. Palmer Elementary student and a junior high school cafeteria employee.
