It will cost Tamaqua Area School District $15,733 to repair its middle school chiller.

On a 7-0 vote Tuesday, the school board approved McClure Company Inc of Wilkes-Barre, to do the work. Directors Thomas Rottet and Wanda Zuber were absent.Also on Tuesday, the board approved out-of-pocket maximum limits required by the Affordable Care Act for 2016.The limits are as follows: Traditional plan, $600 per person, $1,200 per family; Traditional RX, $3,600 per person, $7,200 per family; PPO Plan In-network, $3,000 per person, $6,000 per family; PPO Plan out-of-network, $3,000 per person, $6,000 per family; and PPO RX, $3,600 per person, $7,200 per family.The board also approved the Health and Welfare Trust Rates, composite, self-pay and COBRA rates, effective July 1.The board approved the 2016-17 cafeteria breakfast and lunch prices with no increase.Prices are $2.35 for elementary; $2.60 for secondary; $3.75 for adult; and $1.25 for breakfast.
