A second round of Carbon County COVID-19 Relief Block Grant funding is opening this month.

Carbon County has already approved $3.66 million to be distributed in the first round of grant funding of the $5.79 million it received through the CARES Act in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligible entities, which include businesses, nonprofits, tourism agencies and municipalities, who were affected with COVID-19 related expenses can apply online at www.carboncounty.com beginning Oct. 16. The deadline for grant applications submission is Oct. 30.

Applications will be reviewed in November, with decisions and disbursement of funds happening in December.
