Save Carbon County will hold a special meeting for those directly affected by the PennEast/UGI pipeline and interested members of the public.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursdayat the Towamensing Fire Department, 105 Fire House Road, near the intersection of Route 209 and Trachsville Hill Road.Speakers will be Maya von Rossum, of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network; Karen Feridun, of Berks Gas Truth; and David Pringle, of Clean Water Action.These speakers are among the leaders in the two-state effort to stop the pipeline.Light refreshments will be served.Save Carbon County is a group of concerned citizens that has been fighting the pipeline for two years.
