State police at Stroudsburg reported investigating a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 27 at 2:13 p.m. along Interstate 80 in Stroudsburg.

Troopers said Sarah A. Klein, 23, of Effort, was traveling eastbound in a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt in the left lane while April E. Vanderlaan, 25, of Prospect Park, New Jersey, was in the left lane driving a 2008 Acura. Vanderlaan came to a stop in the left lane and Klein attempted to merge into the left lane. The front of her vehicle hit the rear of Vanderlaan’s.

Klein and two passengers, girls, ages 1 and 3; and Vanderlaan and passengers, two boys, ages 2 and 6, were all not injured. The Cobalt was towed.

Troopers cited Klein for following too closely.
