The Palmerton Area Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. July 13 at the Little White Church, Third and Columbia Avenue in Palmerton.Chris Maxwell of Wild Creek Bee Farm will present a program on beekeeping and products made from honey and bees, including jams and skin cream.The meeting is free and open to the public. It begins at 7 p.m. This concert is sponsored by Jane and David Borbe, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Concourse Club and the 25th anniversary of the Palmerton Area Historical Society.Please bring your own lawn chair. There is no rain date. In the event of inclement weather, the Bandstand Committee reserves the right to cancel the concert.On July 5, the Palmerton Band will perform.Palmerton VFWThe Palmerton Memorial Post 7134 will meet at 7 p.m. July 13. The meeting will take place at the VFW Post, 2020 Forest Inn Road, Palmerton. The group welcomes veterans to join them. They meet the second Monday of each month.Palmerton American LegionPalmerton American Legion Post 269 will meet at 7:30 p.m. July 27 at the VFW Post, 2020 Forest Inn Road, Palmerton.
