State police at Lehighton reported investigating the following incidents.
• A resident reported his children saw a man, dressed in all black clothing wearing a black mask, attempt to open the rear sliding door of their home along Margaret Street, in Towamensing Township. He fled the scene. The incident occurred at 11:29 a.m. on Aug. 11.
• On Aug. 14 about 6:48 p.m. troopers responded to Ruby Court in Ross Township, Monroe County, for a criminal mischief report. On scene a 63-year-old man reported someone punctured the tires on his recreation vehicle with nails.
• A resident of Beechwood Lane, Ashfield, East Penn Township, Carbon County, reported someone stole a “Beechwood Private Club” sign sometime between Aug. 11 and Aug. 12. The sign is valued at $500.

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a criminal mischief incident to a vehicle that was reported on Aug. 17.
• Troopers said a Palmerton woman reported that sometime between Aug. 15 at 11 p.m. and Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. someone damaged her 2012 Subaru SVX while parked at Oak and Sander streets, in Bowmanstown. The passenger side mirror was damaged and the rear windshield wiper was removed from the vehicle.
• A Lehigh County driver is facing charges following a traffic stop in Carbon County.
Troopers stopped a 2006 Nissan Altima along Blue Mountain Road in the area of the Blue Mountain Ski Resort, in Lower Towamensing Township, at 10:40 p.m. on Monday. The driver, Tyson Elijah Taylor, 18, of Allentown, was found to be in possession of and driving under the influence of controlled substances.
