West Penn Township supervisors took the following action on Monday:

• Announced that Lehigh Engineering LLC anticipates having the Comprehensive Plan ready for the Planning Commission to review at its public meeting at 7 p.m. Sept. 22.

• Adopted a resolution revising the Community Development Block Grant Program for fiscal year 2016, as well as a resolution approving the budget for the CDBG CV Program. The resolution revising the CDBG Program for 2016 is for handicap improvements at the township municipal building as well as at the township police department. The resolution approving the budget for the CDBG CV Program was for funding for grants to prevent, prepare for and response to COVID-19.

• Adopted a resolution granting conditional approval for the Hamm/Hollenbach lot consolidation plan, contingent upon satisfying any comments from ARRO Consulting Inc., Schuylkill County, and township sewage enforcement officer Bill Brior.

• Announced that the West Penn Township Fire Company will hold its drive-thru breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon this Sunday. They will also hold a festival fundraiser Aug. 22.
