West Penn Township has changed the years vested for its police pension ordinance.

The township’s board of supervisors unanimously agreed recently to change the years vested from 12 to 10 in the township’s police pension ordinance of 2011.

Supervisors agreed to have township solicitor Paul J. Datte prepare and amend the ordinance and advertise.
