Two Jim Thorpe residents facing revocation proceedings - one of his parole on a driving under the influence charge, and the second for her placement in a probation program, in actions in Carbon County court.

Kristopher Lyden,37, had a petition filed by Joseph Bettine, a probation officer in the adult probation department, to revoke his parole on the DUI charge for violating conditions of not making a concerted effort to pay his court costs and failing to complete a drug and alcohol assessment.Judge Steven R. Serfass resentenced him to serve three months back time effective May 1 at 9 a.m. However, if Lyden completes his drug and alcohol treatment and pays $233.33 in court costs, plus continuing his regular monthly payments, by May 1, the revocation order will be vacated. If he does, he must report to the county prison on that date to serve the three months.Sami Jo Green,24, had her placement in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program revoked on petition of the probation office on a charge of aggravated assault for violating conditions by failing to pay court costs, failing to complete anger management counseling and not having a drug and alcohol evaluation.The revocation is set for May 1. However, if she pays all court costs in full, obtains a drug and alcohol assessment and follows all recommendations and complete the anger management counseling by that date the order will be vacated.
