State police at Frackville said a 71-year-old woman from New Ringgold reported she received a letter from the Social Security Administration notifying her she opened an online account. The woman said she did not create an account and someone was stealing her identity.

Troopers said the investigation is ongoing and that the victim did not suffer any financial loss.
