Sunday: Worship service will be in-person as well as streamed live at 10:45 a.m. Guest speaker for the service will be Paul Van Osten with a singing inspirational message. • Prayer meeting and Bible studies have been canceled for June 30 and July 1.

• Looking forward to announcing plans for a virtual VBS, church picnic and the 125th Anniversary of Bethany Evangelical Church on Aug. 23 with the Lumber River Quartet.

Crossroads Community Church

Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St. holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.

Contemporary worship service starts at 10:30 a.m. Services are temporarily being held outdoors in the parking lot, weather permitting, due to the coronavirus. If weather necessitates that we move indoors, we respectfully ask, for now, for compliance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the 6-foot social distancing guidelines.
