Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin recently accepted five people charged by local police into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. Acceptance into the program, for first-time offenders, is not an admission of guilt. Defendants may have their records expunged upon successful completion of ARD.

All were ordered to pay court costs and fees.Welfran Terrero, 20, West Hazleton: Charged by McAdoo police with two counts of driving under the influence on Oct. 31, 2014.Baldwin accepted him into ARD for 12 months. Terrero was ordered to pay $500 to offset the cost of the program.His license was suspended for 90 days, he must complete Alcohol Highway Safety School, enroll in outpatient treatment, and perform 10 hours of community service.Kati E. Rodriguez, 27, Jim Thorpe: Charged by McAdoo police with driving under the influence and failing to obey traffic control signals on March 15, 2015.Baldwin accepted her into ARD for 12 months. She was ordered to pay $500 to offset the cost of the program, and to complete Alcohol Highway Safety School, enroll in outpatient treatment, and perform 10 hours of community service.Jacquelyn Taylor, 26, Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 22, 2015.Baldwin accepted her into ARD for 12 months. Taylor was ordered to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program, and perform 10 hours of community service.Brenda Hosler, 50, Coaldale: Charged by Coaldale police with disorderly conduct/hazardous/physical offense, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct on July 19, 2015.Baldwin accepted her into ARD for 12 months. Taylor was ordered to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program, and perform 10 hours of community service.Juanita Black, 34, Philadelphia: Charged by Rush Township police with fraud, operating a vehicle without insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle, failing to carry registration, and driving while her registration was suspended on June 29, 2015.Baldwin accepted her into ARD for 12 months. Taylor was ordered to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program, and perform 10 hours of community service.
