Schuylkill County Judge James P. Goodman has reinstated bail for a Tamaqua woman on whom bench warrants for five cases were issued.

Barbara L. Figueiredo, 36, of Shavertown, Luzerne County, had bail set at $1,000 percentage bail in each case. Goodman also ordered her to continue living at her current address, and not move from there without notifying the court. He also ordered her to pay the $232 cost of the bench warrants and apply for a public defender.Figueiredo was charged by Rush Township police with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, receiving stolen property, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia on March 1, 2014.She was also charged by Rush Township police with conspiracy to commit retail theft on Feb. 2, 2014; two counts of conspiracy to commit retail theft, and conspiracy to receive stolen property on Feb. 4, 2014; conspiracy to commit retail theft, retail theft, and receiving stolen property on Feb. 19, 2014; conspiracy to commit retail theft, retail theft, and receiving stolen property on Feb. 28, 2014.The bench warrants were issued after she failed to show up for hearings.Judge Charles M. Miller has sentenced a Tamaqua man for driving with suspended licenses.Keith A. Washeim,45, was ordered to pay court costs and fees and undergo 90 days of house arrest with electronic monitoring.Tamaqua police charged Washeim with driving on July 16, 2015, while his license was suspended.President Judge William E. Baldwin also dealt with several cases.Joshua McArdle,24, of Tamaqua: Baldwin revoked his probation and sentenced him to three to 12 months in jail, with credit for 47 days already served.Tamaqua police charged McArdle with illegally possessing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 10, 2013.Baldwin also revoked probation and resentenced McArdle in another case to up to 12 months in jail, to be served concurrently with the first case. In this matter, McArdle was charged by state police at Frackville with possession of a small amount of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 21, 2013.Derek M. Hunsicker,27, of Tamaqua: Baldwin denied Hunsicker's request for parole.Hunsicker was charged on Sept. 10, 2014, by Tamaqua police with conspiracy to manufacture, deliver or possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, two counts of manufacture, delivery or possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, and intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not registered.Hunsicker pleaded guilty on June 17, 2015, to the manufacturing and conspiracy charges, and Baldwin sentenced him to six to 23 months in jail.Christine N. King,37, of Lansford: Baldwin denied her application for parole from the pre-release program.State police at Schuylkill Haven charged her with acquiring or obtaining a controlled substance through misrepresentation, intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not registered, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and forgery on July 30, 2014.Also, prosecutors decided to not pursue a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle againstAshley M. Sist, 30, of McAdoo.McAdoo police had charged her on Jan. 10, 2015.
