NJ man jailed after Ross incident

A New Jersey man was jailed on June 12 following an incident in Ross Township, Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said troopers were dispatched to 213 Chestnut Drive South, for a reported disturbance. On scene troopers observed Billyjoe Dean, 46, of Wharton, who had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody. Also on scene troopers spoke to the complainant who said she had an active protection from abuse order against Dean.

Dean was taken to the county prison in Snydersville on the warrant. Troopers will charge Dean with the PFA violation.
