The Slatington Public Library reading challenge donation of two $25 cash prizes honoring Donald Owens has been continued until Oct. 30 due to the COVID-19 library closure.

In order to stimulate reading during this stressful time there will be two additional $25 cash prizes added to the challenge for a total of $100 in prize awards.

Slatington Public Library patrons will receive one chance to win with every 10 books read. We welcome children and adults to take part in this reading contest.

The Slatington Public Library is hoping that this reading challenge will promote its mission of literacy in the Northern Lehigh community.
