A Lehighton woman will spend up to two years in state prison on drug and other charges stemming from incidents in Tamaqua.
Schuylkill County President Judge William Baldwin on Aug. 12 sentenced Sara Lucykanish, 20, to one to two years in prison after she pleaded guilty.Lucykanish was charged by Tamaqua police for four occasions in August, September and October 2014. She received the same sentence for all four cases, to be served concurrently.On Aug. 27, 2014, she was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, and criminal use of a communication facility. The charge of criminal use of a communication facility was dropped in plea negotiations.On Sept. 10, 2014, she was charged with criminal conspiracy and criminal use of a communication facility. Again, the charge of criminal use of a communication facility was dropped.On Oct. 8, 2014, she was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, and criminal use of a communication facility. The charges of criminal use of a communication facility and possession with intent to deliver were dropped.On Oct. 22, 2014, she was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, and criminal use of a communication facility. The charges of possession with intent to deliver, and criminal use of a communication facility were dropped.
